【ITU Telecom World 2019】Welltool is nominated as the final candidate for SME Awards [ 2019.09.09 ]

International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is one of the specialized agencies for the United Nations, with the membership of 193 member states and over 700 companies, and it has 150 years of history.

"ITU Telecom World" is the largest event that is held every year by ITU.
This event attracts remarkable attention every year, as it works as the global platform to connect the governments and business enterprises, as well as "high-tech" SMEs, to accelerate further ICT innovation. This year, the event is held at Budapest in Hungary from today on 9 September.

●Welltool is nominated as the final candidate

The multilingual "in-a-flash" translation system by Welltool is nominated as the final candidate for SME Awards, that is presented for the small businesses at ITU Telecom World.

Everyone knows that the ICT solution today plays an important role in accelerating the social and economic development everywhere in the global markets, regardless of newly emerging or mature ones.

It is because the ICT-based applications, solutions and initiatives are very powerful and effective in improving the lives of people all over the world.

At ITU Telecom World, the award is presented every year to the business entity which makes contribution to the technological development for further innovation and creativity.

In 2019, Welltool, with its multilingual "in-a-flash" translation system, the first in Japan and unique in the world, is recognized and nominated as the final candidate for the award. The company officer makes the final presentation today on 9 September to appeal for the highest award.

The award will be presented on 12 September.
